Conformity has its place in life, but celebrating the unique diversity of nature and life truly creates the spice in life. Just look at the two pictures of the flowers in my back yard in the last few weeks, a rhododendron on the left and an iris below.
Each displays its own unique color, shape and essence, pleasing and teasing the seeing eyes with their unique diveristy. One doesn’t try to emulate the other; rather, each proudly radiates and displays its own unique beauty and is simply the best flower it can be.
Similar to nature, people have their own unique beauty and strengths. What a world it would be if we could all share our true selves and respect and admire the good and diversity in each other!
