Sometimes nature talks to us through the beauty it displays.
This morning as I bike on my return trip down the trail to my car, Mother Nature pointed the way for me a bit.
The sun’s rays peaked through the branches of the trees, illuminating the trail, inviting me to enjoy this sacred ground. Imagine seeing this invitation continually as you bike down the trail.
I think life is like that. At times we question what we’re doing, where we’re going and why, and the answers come to us like the sun’s rays. A little light peaks from behind the forest of life, giving us a glimpse of the
path to follow. Sometimes that glimpse is not too bright, but as we follow the path, the light becomes brighter and we begin to see — and know.

I remember hearing a story once about traveling in the dark. With headlights on, we can travel from coast to coast 100 feet at a time. We need not worry about the 3,000 mile trip; the way will illuminate before us. The key is to turn the lights on — and see and follow the path that unfolds.
