I took this picture of a flower my sister has blooming in her home for the past few weeks. (I can’t recall its name, but it begins with an A.) These blooms ignite my enthusiasm for spring.
Yes, it may be the end of January in Pennsylvania, but spring — and all the blooms and colors that come with it — are a mere two months away!
The snow will melt, temperatures will warm and crocuses will push through the surface of the earth to share their short-lived essence. Before you know it, daffodils, tulips and hyacinths will color our world. At the same the vegetable garden gets under way.
It all reminds me of Chicago’s hit Color My World:
“As time goes on…I realize…Just what you mean…To me…And now…now that you’re near…promise your love..that I’ve waited to share…and dreams of our moments together…color my world…with hope of loving you.”
What dreams do you hope will color your world?
