What do you wish?

     I wish…
…it would get above 32 degrees for at least three days in a row.
…I could see the ground instead of 4′ piles of snow.
…I could get out on the trail on my bike.
     …I would win the lottery.
…the people of the world would stop whatever they’re doing for two minutes today and use that two minutes to appreciate the beauty and life around them — the fresh, clean air, the sounds of a bird singing in the distance, sunlight streaming in a south window.
…everyone (including myself) would wake up tomorrow with a smile and excitement as each looks forward to a new day pursuing their deepest passions.
…I could stop eating so much junk and work out regularly.
…I owned the Flagstaff Mountain so I could turn it into a spiritual sanctuary, a quiet place where nature and creative people could co-exist.
…everyone (including myself) could accept others exactly as they are now, today.
…everyone (including myself) would use all the gifts, talents and skills they possess to help others use all their gifts, talents and skills to help others.
…I could see the crocuses pushing through the soil and the blossoms of daffodils and tulips.
Some of these wishes will become reality, given time and energy.  Some may never happen.  It doesn’t stop me from wishing or doing something I can to help those wishes become reality.  Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket today! 🙂
