Take the Time

Did you take a minute for peace as I suggested two weeks ago in my blog, Take a Minute for Peace?

I have to admit I haven’t done it myself.  I blame the piles of work on my desk (and floor!!) that need my attention, but that’s just another excuse.  If I can take the time to take a potty break, I’m sure I can take a minute for cleansing my mind.  Maybe I should do it in the bathroom.  ðŸ™‚

Now I have another suggestion.  How about if you take a little time every morning for a minute of peace? Try it each day for the next week and see how it affects your day.  For me, this natural interlude helps to set a peaceful tone for the day. But I tell myself I’m too busy even though I know that minute for myself will yield so many benefits.  I’ll feel relaxed.  I’ll reduce my stress level.  I may even be able to work a little better when I return…and all it takes is a minute.
Think you don’t have the time?  We ALL have 24 hours in a day.  Can you spare 60 seconds each day to make your day a little better?   Better yet, why not listen during the day on a break or at lunch?  Why not take a minute to hit the reset button on a stressful day?
We all have 86,400 seconds in a day. How will you use yours?
