I have this fascination with rays of sunlight streaming through cloud, fog or trees. Somehow to me it reflects hope and belief.
Despite the ominous-looking clouds, there’s something beyond the darkness that will push its way through to light the way.
This past Sunday those beams of light came and went, a testament to the elusive realities of life. Even though it seems bleak, cold and threatening, there is hope beyond. It may take some movement on our part to find the Light. It may seem to disappear in front of our eyes and force us to continue our search.
Yet the lessons we learn from the search provide a special pathway to peace…hope, belief and patience. For me, finding the Light is worth it.
How about you?
All aspects of nature are essential to the survival of our planet and the universe. We humans add our emotional and spiritual meanings. Some people get depressed without enough sunlight; some get a boost when light prevails and spring surpasses winter. Peace comes when we accept nature as it is.
