Spring’s Sprung

Spring FlowersI had a little extra free time between appointments today so I went for a walk at the Mauch Chunk Lake Park.

Not a soul was on the trail, probably because it was near midday on a Wednesday.  That was fine by me.

It was in the 60s, sunny with just a slight breeze.

Spring has sprung.  These flowers — not sure what kind they are — were blooming in clusters on the grassy area before the trail proceeds down toward the turnoff going toward the breast.

They probably won’t last long, just like the days of Spring.  As the days get warmer, their  radiance will dull and their petals will wither.  The life of Spring flowers are fleeting.

Look around and see what’s here now…it’ll be gone all too soon.

You last statement can apply to most things in life including our life itself. Appreciate what’s here now.
